Im getting itchy just thinking about those poor maddys LOL, what a terrible fit! I hope, for your sake, we never meet on the same battlefield. As an anti shield-tanker specialist I can say with confidence that if you get in range of me, I WILL two shot you, maybe three if the second doesn't crit you. Since I can take out an actual armor based tank in 5 hits, there is no hope for you.
I don't know what the frak the OP is trying to say but he's got the fit pretty much right. Not entirely right but it's almost there. It's not supposed to take hits, it's a glass cannon that relies on killing anything with the first volley and then getting out of there.

You'll have to actually land hits on me if you wanna kill me with the Gastun's, I love however making those people lose their precious Gastun's Forges :P Delicious tears.
EDIT: Ok, I think I've actually died once to a Gastun's in my entire Dust career, but I do see them in almost every match. People just don't seem to know how to use the easiest weapon in the whole game. Right after swarms of course, because there isn't a weapon in any game that could be easier than that, even the smart pistol or whatever in Titalfall is nothing compared to swarms.

Please do jump off your high place I will politely follow. Oh please dont get me wrong, I have lost about 7 or 8 gastuns over the course of the last 3 or 4 months. I don't claim to be the most efficient AV-er. I just like to use what ever I feel will give me the most fun. Sometimes its the Breach forge, sometimes the assault and sometimes the Gastuns. I don't rage if I lose one, in fact I usually ask the person who killed me if they recieved any Gastuns in their loot as supposedly officer weapons being used / lost on the battlefield increases the chance of receiving them in the loot. It all stems back from running into DUNA2002 in ambush, he changed my entire outlook on this game to be quite honest. edit - While of course I do look for the high ground, I am also a fan of using a LAV to 'sneak' up behind a reloading tank so I can unload into his backside like a dirty man *****!  And lets not kid ourselves, the HMG`s are by far the easiest weapons to use in the game. Especially that silly burst HMG. I suck with HMG`s but even I can get reasonable amounts of kills using them.
Well, Duna2002 is just someone who gets great enjoyment out of farming kills with the large blaster turret and then hopping out to preserve his precious KDR when his tank gets destroyed. He doesn't actually have any skill, he relies on his good hit detection and backup in matches, he loves to get organized to stomp for kills but he doesn't know how to play the objective game.
Now, I'm not just someone who is jealous of Duna, I just don't get enjoyment out of farming kills and padding my kdr. Also I don't get put into matches with Duna too often, mainly because I don't do ambush so I don't have more pictures of our encounters. And he rarely dies anyway because he escapes when he knows that his tank will get destroyed, he uses the explosion animation to get some cover and cloak up. Or he just uses a heavy suit and runs away with that using anything and everything as cover.
Anyway, about the HMG, at least the HMG requires you to aim. Swarms just require you to point in the general direction and then you just let the swarms follow your target around 10 different corners while not rendering to your target at all. If they actually rendered to your target then I might agree it takes a very little bit of skill to use them. But invisible missiles doing 180 degree turns and invisible shooter, lol, yeah, that takes skill.

I post my fittings here and there on the forums to see who actually tanks and knows wtf they are talking about. Not so many people are educated on tanks fittings at all. Out of the 18 people that commented 1 of them (you) actually knew what this tank is made to do. Your in FA ill keep a look out for your name maybe we can play some games together. Are you kidding me with the fit you posted a person wouldn't have to be a tanker to know that it sucks and as for its purpose, well that's obvious of course, to get easily owned by av and tanks alike.
You obviously don't play Dust if you say that.

I don't know why you're trying to defend his fit so hard when the proof in how bad this fit is can be seen in his video that he posted where he "quit" dust because sure with that fit it has strong offensive capabilities vs other tanks but that's about it there's not really much else it can do.
Haven't seen his video and like I said, the fit isn't exactly spot on but it's almost there. I've been using similar fit myself and it works wonders, I rarely die using it unless I get careless.

We understand how to glass cannon, it's the fact that glass cannons are completely ineffective when compared to a tanked out tank.
